Did I mention I was married?
I'm crazy about my kids, that might be obvious, but it's been pointed out by multiple people that this blog says nothing about my wife. Oops.
I need to set the record straight.
Cindy rocks. Getting married to her is the smartest, most important thing I've ever done in my life (next to giving my life to Christ). She's gorgeous, funny, good-natured, sweet, responsable, and not a nag or a prude or obsessive/compulsive or one of these modern, shallow, materielistic, self-absorbed divas. We have the best relationship out of any couple I personally know, mainly because of her wonderful-ness. I tend to do stupid things like forgetting to put her in the blog, but she's very forgiving, and if we happen to have any unpleasantness that is her fault, she's actually quick to apologize and admit when she's wrong. It makes it easier for me to admit when I'm wrong..... then we get to make up.
I try to be a good husband because she's such a good wife.
I really, really love my kids, but one day they'll be grown up, move away and have lives of their own - that makes me sad. But, then it'll just be me and my wife, pouring into each other instead of pouring into the kids. I'll miss them a lot, but that much free time just with Cindy really gets me excited - decades and decades of freedom with the person I love the most. Yeah... that's how I want to go out.
I love you, Cindy.

Hailie Marie collage
'I can't explain Chantze' collage
Twin Formal collage
THE NEW DO - as requested by Aunt Jamie
I snapped about four of these pictures, now, for some reason, instead of reacting with disdain to the suggestion that they hug for the picture (like they normally would), this time they thought it was the funniest thing in the world, I don't know why, but it made them laugh - hard. Of course each time I took a shot, I'd catch one or the other laughing, but never both at the same time, so this one is the best comprimise. Brooke's about to bust out laughing, and Paige is coming down off one.

Vital Veen information
Boring family journal entry nobody will want to read: Chantze gave an oral presentation to his class yesterday and got an 'A+'! (despite the fact that he refferred to the subject of his report only as 'Charles' -- he couldn't remember 'Lindbergh') Paige and Brooke got a major haircut, they're so cute, kinda 'pixie'-style. And they had their kindergarten readiness testing yesterday, apparently they did really well, which is good, because I was worried, because they might have to do kindergarten twice, which is okay, cuz they don't have to be geniuses, because we love them anyway, but I thought they might not be ready, but I guess they are. Good.
I'm smarter than I thunked I were.
I figured out to post pictures! I deserve a reward, maybe a cheeseburger or something (we've been on a strict diet, and I've lost about 15 lbs., plus or minus three)
Anyhow, I'm now taking photo requests, on the menu: birthday pictures, Halloween pictures, twin pictures, beach pictures, playground pictures, pictures of weird places Paige falls asleep, and miscellaneous quirky pictures.

Y'all are in for a treat
I have great kids. I don't know if they'll be celebrities or statesmen or impact history in any way, but it doesn't matter to me, they are beautiful, and they're fun to be around (in general, you know what I mean) and I'm creating this blog to share them. I'd like to post pictures, but I'm having trouble, apparently I'm not smart. When I do, though, y'all are in for a treat.
